The Queensway East, also known as Peel Regional Rd 20, starts by Mississauga’s north-south main street: Hurontario St. and continues eastward to the Toronto border, a distance of 5.7 kilometres / 3.54 miles (the road continues into Toronto until it connects with Queen Street. The Queensway does continue westwards from Hurontario as The Queensway W. where it veers north as Erindale Station Rd. From west to east the following north-to-south streets intersect The Queensway East: Hurontario St., Cawthra Rd. Stanfield Rd., and Dixie Rd. The Queen Elizabeth Highway aka QEW runs parallel to the south while Dundas St. E. runs parallel to the north.

The area by The Queensway and Hurontario is part of the Cooksville BIA community.
