This major street in this BUBBLES & SQUEAK Inc.’s Service Areas presentation is a part of being the longest continuous street in the world; Starting by Lake Ontario and Queens Quay in the south it continues 1896 kilometres or 1178 miles to Rainy River, Ontario by the Minnesota border. The street that identifies as Yonge St. only goes as far as just north of Queensville Sideroad in the Holland Marsh.
The BUBBLES & SQUEAK service area concentrates on the downtown core: Queen’s Quay by Lake Ontario north to St. Clair Ave., a distance of 6.1 km / 3.8 mi. As the pictures below show the area has commercial buildings mixed with residential housing / condos; building of all sizes to create one of Canada’s downtown metropolises containing millions of square feet of office space.
This stretch has major east to west streets intersecting: (from south to north) Queen’s Quay, Front St., King St., Queen St., College St. / Carlton St., Wellesley St., Bloor St., Davenport Rd, and St. Clair Ave. It is on these main streets that commercial spaces such as retail stores, doctors’ offices, dentists’ offices, banks, and gyms / fitness centres predominate with more office space on the upper floors. Many Government institutions and public organisations and organizations are also located in this sector of the commercial cleaning service area.
