Lake Shore Boulevard starts in the east by Toronto’s Ashbridges Bay / Woodbine Avenue and continues to the western border with Mississauga. While the eastern portion of Lake Shore Blvd., (from Woodbine Ave. to just past Windemere Ave.) is a 15 km / 9 1/3 mi. stretch of roadway with only a few office buildings by Yonge St. (e.g. the LCBO head office) the road passes by Ontario Place and the grounds of the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition). Flanked by Queens Quay to the south and Front St. to the north in this downtown Toronto section north-south main intersecting streets are, from east to west, Parliament St., Sherbourne St., Jarvis St., Church St., Yonge St., Bay St., University Ave., Spadina Ave., Bathurst St., Strachan Ave., Parkside Dr., and Windemere Ave.
Once Lakeshore Blvd. W. resumes at the south-eastern border of Etobicoke by Humber Bay Shores in Mimico it continues 7 km / 4 1/3 mi. to the Mississauga border. This portion of Lakeshore Blvd. is very commercial. Flanked by Lake Ontario to the south and Queensway Ave. to the north the main north-south intersecting streets are, from east to west, Park Lawn Rd., Mimico Ave. and Royal York Rd. in Mimico, then Islington Ave. and Kipling Ave. in New Toronto (where his cleaning company is headquartered) and finally Brown’s Line in Long Branch.
